$58,000 Reward Offered in Arizona Wolf Shooting

The Arizona Game and Fish Department announced today that up to $58,000 is being offered for information leading to the conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the shooting of a Fox Mountain Pack Wolf (collared F521) during the month of December 2010. The Interagency Field Team (IFT) located another wolf (M1157) within the traditional territory of the Fox Mountain Pack, which is in the northwestern portion of the Gila National Forest (GNF). The IFT documented a third (M1158) traveling in the east-central portion of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in Arizona this month. The IFT found F521 dead in the northwest portion of the GNF in December.
