I was out for Dall sheep photos and bumped into this lynx on the trail, what luck!
Beautiful cat.
It’s beautiful, but I’m sure it’s dangerous.
It’s a bit scary for me.
Anyway, it’s a great shot!
What!!? Oh man! That’s amazing, awesome shot. Where, when, how and how far away was it? And can we go back there when I get back?
Ha! I ran into this guy yesterday on a hike a couple miles south of your house. I saw it coming up the trail as I was coming down, but it didn’t see me, so I had time to get the tripod ready and wait for it to walk up. I set up on a corner, it rounded the bend at about 15 feet from me. Never got alarmed when I started clicking, just seemed annoyed that I was on the trail and obviously in the way. After about 30 seconds it slowly walked around me and into the trees.
