Yellow-Headed Caracara

The Yellow-Headed Caracara is known to remove and eat ticks and small invertebrates from the fur of Baird’s Tapir, Three-Toed Sloth, and Capybara. Due to this feeding behavior, it’s sometimes referred to as the tickbird.
